German Directorate
The German Directorate (Deutsche Direktorium) from a Scifi setting i'm creating.
The Directorate rules over what remain of Germany after the sea level rises of 20m and Nemesis planetoid franctured in Earth's orbit.
It is a military junta, but but is not a dictatorship in the common sense. Although the army controls much of the state decisions and budged, an elected Collegium coadiuvate the Heerrat (Military Council).
The Directorate controls directly only the northern half of former Germany, sisters republics control the southern half, Belgium, what remains of Holland and the Danish Isles.
After the war against Greater Bohemia Austria and Saxony seceded and entered in Bohemia Sphere of Influence.
