Lowenwolf Mercenary Army

 


The Lowenwolf is a band of mercenaries originar from Galileo, but settled in the Belt during the Belt Wars and very famous during the Valhalla Wars, where they was one of the most formidable foes of the Valhallan army.

Currently, and during most of their career, they served Pallas. In many cases, however, they don't rule out to serve other powers, if this didn't conflict with their preferential engagement with Pallas.

The motives of a such preference are been never clearly stated, but probably is something to do with the band original task to subdue Pallas during the Belt War. They fail to secure the Prince's palace and open the main streets to the regular Galileo Army. A task they failed due to resistance from principality common people.

During Valhalla Wars, The lowenwolf captured the Cylinder Island of Sollin, which become, and still is, their HQ and main recruit center.

The soldiers of Lowenwolf are known for their heavy body modifications, especially cybernetics, and their ostentation of it.
 
Sollin is ruled as a barrack, and the cylinder main city, Solus, is also the main city of the mercenaries. Despite, or perhaps thanks to, the soldiers, colony economy, legal and non, thieving and blooming and if you want some dirty affair...and it is not on Pallas, Solus is the place you have to go. 
There are not citizens on Sollin, but potential recruits, so if decent standard of life(comparate to other belt settlements) is guaranteed, a strict discipline is enforced too. Disorders and protests are not tolerated and often subdue with brutal force and quick efficiency.

Despite to be a backward place compared to Luna of Jovian sphere, you can find good cyber and trans-human implants, the army, often, can have also the best ones, but a trip to Zeus or Tycho is need.

Crown Princess Maia

Princess Maia: Maia is the second born of Emperor Isaac, she is 30 years old. She was conceived with assistite procreation to ensure a second heir for the Empire. She is the Duchesse of Io, the most active moon around Jupiter and the source of the energy of the Empire extracted by geothermal activity of Io. She is very active and social woman, having different lovers (some male and some female as well) and she is a little scandalous for the conformist Galilean society. However she is a woman of the people and she is very loved by her subjects on Io, because she not only makes a lot of appearances on working places, but she leads a lot of foundations for the well beings of her people. She commands the Imperial Guard and his own regiment of Io's Hussars both with the grade of Colonel.

Pallas Marines

  The soldiers of Pallas fought much more in the space than on surfaces and their marines are known to have aided the lowenwolf mercenaries in many operations. Moreover, if Pallas in not in open war, they travel on ships and cargoes to ensure security and defense against pirates and rogue clans. The armor, called star-metal suit, is a titanium-ceramic armor is insulated by vacuum of space and integrated with many aids for the soldier, as guided aim, thermoscanner and radar. The marines are not a separate corp from the army, but soldiers of Royal State Army equipped with star-metal suits. The last major battle is been at Shteins during the Valhalla War and their last engagement is been at Eros against the Void Octopus pirates fleet
